Meet baby {H}. He surprised his Mom and Dad by coming a few weeks early. Luckily he's doing great and is a very handsome little guy. He was the easiest baby I've photographed so far. He slept the whole time and that made my job easy! Here he is in all his newborn goodness. Enjoy!

This sweet little thing is a fighter! She's already had some serious struggles in her short time here, but thank goodness she's home now and doing well. She was so cute and snugglie I could have stayed and played with her all day long! I've never photographed such a smiley baby...she's got some fantastic stories to tell, if only.

Sigh...I was so excited when I showed up to this little guys shoot and Mom showed me what she brought for him to wear! Check out that tie! So stinkin' adorable! I so loved the orange and blue together.

This is my friend's newest little one. He is 9 months old and was so easy going. Thank you Annie! I hope you love them as much as I do!

This is my cute nephew! We took his pictures yesterday at the Ogden Temple grounds for his baptism next month. He's quite the ham and was such a trooper for me. Getting your pictures taken is hard work! He did great and didn't complain, not once!

How cute are these two? I had a photosession with these two darling boys yesterday and they were a DREAM to photograph. Really! A 2 year old and 7 month old can be tricky at this age, but they were so cute and well behaved. Kudos to Mom, she's fantastic!

I just finished editing the rest of this session from Thanksgiving weekend. My sister and her friends are just gorgeous and so much fun to photograph.

Chelsey, I've known her for...ever? Seriously, she and Katie have know each other since early elementary school. I love that they've stayed close after all these years. She's simply stunning!

Aww...my youngest sister Katie. She's so beautiful! I admire her hard work and talent! She's a very loving auntie to my babies.

I'll always have a special place in my heart for Kelli. She is my husbands cousin and both she and Katie set us up! I owe her BIG time! :) Love her eyes in this one.

Paige was so much fun to be around and she is so pretty!

I loved their clothing choices, so stylish.

These darling girls might look familiar. Mom had me take their portraits earlier this year. You can see that session here. I was excited when she contacted me again about a quick mini session this last weekend over the holiday.

Their family dynamic makes me happy, I come from a family with three girls as well.

It was cold and even though we hurried, the girls were shivering when we were done.
They still insisted on ice cream for their treat afterward for being so good! Funny.

This is my cousin and her darling family. We met Halloween morning for a session. It was early and FREEZING cold. The were such troopers and we got some fun ones.

My youngest started preschool today! He was very excited and beyond ready to go. He was dressed and ready to go, backpack and all at least an hour before it was time to start.

My oldest started first grade a few weeks ago. Here are pictures of his first day as well.

A best friend, is an amazing thing to have. Would any of us make it through life without them? Someone to share our dreams with. Someone to vent to. Someone to laugh with, and more importantly, someone to cry with. Better yet, someone to laugh until we cry with!
I've know Suzie for a long time. We became good friends when we worked at a Dental office together. I have lots of fun memories of hanging out, laughing at crazy patients and spending time together. We've kept in touch and I was so happy when she called and asked about a photosession.
I met Suzie and her best friend Shelly last week. They've been best friends their whole lives. I loved the idea of a session capturing their friendship.

For fun, I asked Suzie and Shelly the following questions:

This is my darling niece. She's quite the little spitfire and does her best keeping up with all the boys we have running around here. She was a great little model for me one night a few weeks ago. Our session didn't last too long as it was cut short by a ferocious wind storm. But we did mange to get some sweet shots of her. Love her!

I love my job in that I get to meet lots of new people. I had the pleasure last week of shooting the Crane family! They are visiting from Washington D.C. and we met up Friday night for their family session.

Our main goal for the evening with the {L} family was to get a family picture! With 6 kids 10 and under that poses to be quite the challenge.

The M & M twins! Even though they are not identical...I can't tell them apart!

My darling little friend A turned 8 years old this weekend. She will be baptized next week. Last night she came out and braved the wind and mosquitoes with me to get a few pictures to celebrate the occasion! Her sweet yellow dress looked great in the grasses and the purple flowers.
